I am looking at getting an action cam to have and to use as a dash cam. I am thinking Replay XD or GoPro, but GoPros are more expensive. I’d ideally like to have a hardwire option which can be done with both types. Has anyone used a Replay XD?
Lead image is the results of the car search posts I had earlier this year!

I recently bought an older GoPro Hero for pretty cheap with 4 mounts and a 32gb card. I havent tried their software though.
Why not a dedicated dash cam to always be in the car?

I wasn’t looking for a Camaro really but after awhile they seemed like the right choice and I found this one. SLP package w/ 60k miles. Polished and waxed it to get rid of water spots, new belts, and replaced the passenger window motor. Good to go!

Looking at those two. I am working out mounting. My windshield will be cluttered with my Escort and a Camera always mounted. A dedicated dash cam would be better. The next time I get hit would be whenever the action camera was off.

I have the Cobra 840, Ive even seen it in Costco for a very good price.
Its pretty slim and easy to tuck away, some dash cams can even replace the rear view mirror instead of cluttering the view, you just need to shop around.

My GW1-H was only $50 an works great as a dash cam, but not at all as an action cam. Fortunately, I also have a Gopro (which makes for a shitty dash cam btw)

I have a GoPro Hero 3 Silver with a 16 gb card in good condition for sale and I'm willing to sell it with an Oppo discount...

Harder and harder to find other 4th gen owners.
And I recently got a Go Pro Hero from Amazon . Its the basic version and shoots 720p at 60fps but i still think it looks good and with SD card its $140. Way better then gopro’s other options.

very nice, they are great performance cars for the money, I really enjoyed mine but it was time to replace it with something newer for going back and forth to work, hence selling it, but was able to score a 14 Camaro SS

I found finding a clean one that wasn’t a 2007 300c mile collector car fairly hard. But am glad I did. It is a fun car that is simple and not too flashy.

Very nice! Mine is 345hp SLP, 6 speed, 60k miles. But not 35th, those were a bit too much. I really like the wheels on them. Cool graphics as well.

I had my GTO but when that wasn’t working out for a daily I got my Focus. But missed the LS & T56 combo, so that led me to the SS. It isn’t my daily, so it all works. I have it in the barn for the winter now. I was looking at Mach 1’s, Trans Ams, SRT8 cars, C5 Vettes, TBSS, GTO’s, etc but nothing could beat the value. Down the road 5+ years I think an upgrade to a newer Camaro like yours or a 5.0 Mustang will be in order.
